Story of Abraham's call to offer Isaac on the altar of Mount Mariah, as I "felt" it through the eyes of Isaac.

Story behind the song
Woke in one of those 3 am times with the feeling I needed to jot something down. The lyrics came out pretty much like this in a short time. Next day I sat down to the music and it fit together pretty good with little change. Rare kind of occurrence. Go figure
Lyrics
Jehovah-Jireh
On my back lies the weight of the wood
I would bare it some more if I could
On the hill we draw near
Pray the Lord my God will hear
Jehovah-Jireh knew he would
Jehovah-Jireh knew he would
"Abba father, I pray you do hear
In my mind I can still sense some fear"
As I lie on the wood
I still wonder if he could
Jehovah-Jireh do you hear?
Jehovan-Jireh do you hear?
As his hand was raised high in the air
To the Lord God alone was my care
And as quick as the knife
There's a ram for my life
Jehovah-Jireh he was there
Jehovah-Jireh he was there
On the hill of a skull I can see
The Son hanging high on a tree
And the blood of the lamb
Took the sin off my hand
Jehovah-Jireh did for me
Jehovah-Jireh did for me
Jehovah-Jireh
enjoyed the listen ever so much.
