"...I too play a guitar- but sometimes I play the fool" -John Lennon
Mostly, I write originals songs and record/produce the material at home. I just play acoustic/electric guitar, sometimes bass. I'll fill out the songs with other "instruments". Lately I've been filming renditions of these songs, doing covers of pop/rock songs, and making music videos of my material.

Story behind the song
I wrote this song when I was in my late teens. Originally scored, as all my songs were done, for solo acoustic guitar. Resurrected for the fun of it, this song was special to work on because it's the first one to have actual rather than programmed drums. The subject matter surrounds a fantastical world during an apocalyptic scenario.
Lyrics
The jester clad in harlequin conducts the ragtime band As flowers march in protest of the drought plaguing the land And forest dwellers scatter about to huddle in mutual fear The red moon ascends spitefully lingering for years Oh dear, how did they go astray? Oh dear, now the jester gently plays! The bishop laughs to himself in darkness and in vain As fireflies ignite the skies in terror and in pain The worshippers in hollow woods who purposefully sneer Anguish as the cracks corrode the spokes of the grinding gear Oh dear, how did they go astray? Oh dear, now the jester gently plays! Unfounded hate in sinister men contrive the broken seams Partitioning conditioning, confirming empty dreams Emaciated bodies are stacked with crooked cheer The flowers clutch the signs that read, "The End Is Coming Near!" Oh dear, how did they go astray? Oh dear, now the jester gently plays! Nights' sable curtain descends upon the seas Then rides across the bleak terrain despite the crying pleas Reverberating echoes drown out the late contritions Before the void of blackness refuses their petitions!
