I got a Roy Rogers guitar with song book for Christmas in 1958. I learned a little and put it aside. In '63 a kid brought his electric guitar to school and played "Pipeline" at our sock hop. It looked easy, so I started a garage band. Eventually, I needed money for gas and dates, so I got a real job. We disbanded in '66, but best friend, Freddie, and I kept jamming over the years.
We recently worked on a song he wrote and it inspired me to write my own music. Please listen and post a message.

Nice picking and singing, Butch..the key changes keep things interesting. :)
Butch, You really have an amazing skill, you are one heck of a lyricist and a great songwriter, The vocals got a bit muddy here but the song turned out wonderful!!!
