I got a Roy Rogers guitar with song book for Christmas in 1958. I learned a little and put it aside. In '63 a kid brought his electric guitar to school and played "Pipeline" at our sock hop. It looked easy, so I started a garage band. Eventually, I needed money for gas and dates, so I got a real job. We disbanded in '66, but best friend, Freddie, and I kept jamming over the years.
We recently worked on a song he wrote and it inspired me to write my own music. Please listen and post a message.

Butch,
Now this is a cute song!!! I love it alot.. especially the lyrics and the way you sung it... Stays with you.
Keep it up!! You got the touch my friend...
BOB
This could definitely be a cross-over tune, Butch..it has a hymn quality about it. :) I know it's about your wife, but the song could be modified to become a song about the Lord. :) The melody is beautiful. :)
