Story behind the song
This is a song about revolution - social and musical. The title is derived from something Wordsworth said about the French revolution: "Bliss was it in that dawn to be alive / But to be young was very heaven!" I say it's also about a musical revolution, because it's an old skool rave tune and one of the things I've always loved about that stuff is the fresh optimism it has about it - that sense that something new and different was happening... perhaps a revolution...?
