One of my masterpieces so far, except for a couple funky notes. Bass part is insane, and lots of effects. perhaps too many...

Funk, Grunge, Experimental - What more can you ask for?
Behold, the bass. Behold, the recording program. Let an overanalyzing, overeating teen kid use them and you have a very odd combination of sounds. Ben Morse, the mind behind the music, is doing his best to create a new and generally unused sound; mixing funk, grunge, and experimental rock. Kevin, an old friend from highschool, and Mark, a fellow natickian, are now in the band, creating an amazing team of musicians to create the greatest experience the music world has heard.

Story behind the song
I wrote this song with the thoughts of a friend that i've grown apart from, even moreso since this song's fabrication. Entirely in a Ben-like fashion i wrote a song based on the feelings of doubt that i was having with the relationship, and the feelings of sadness that it's loss bestowed upon me. I seriously can't think of much that made me more upset.
Lyrics
In this feeling is a need to be distant. Like two birds flying on wings of digression And succession of propriety without anxiety. Sold out. Succoming to thoughts of anything but Presentation. Sold at stakes. Surrounded by bands of utmost Desperation. Burnt with flames of tongues, Like a reaping of sorrows, ashen and entirely obsessive. Tapping on windows of long-forgotten regression. Cold as it comes, yet it singes my skin With a fiery passion that clarity Refuses to repeat. I can't see a thing through this invisible smoke. Sold out. Sold at stakes. Burnt out. Burnt at stakes. Today i surrender to the box made for my corpse.
