Story behind the song
Rejoyce is a one-time union of Michael Morrow, Konabob Stoffer, Gordon Burt, Bob Brozman, and Sterling that took place at George Kahumaku, Jr.'s 2004 Maui Slack Key Guitar Workshop. Gordon Burt is a professional fiddle player from Denver, Colorado, playing in several cowboy, western, and bluegrassish bands. Sterling is a young (17 year old) friend of the Kahumokus. Michael is from New Mexico and plays in a band called "Poi White Trash."
