Lyrics
There’s the girl my heart is set on There’s the pillow I my head on There’s the truth but I won’t let on Those are long odds that I can bet on There’s the book I should have read it There’s a lie I almost said it There’s a joke but I don’t get it There’s someone else to take the credit Don’t try to tell me any different Don’t try to tell me anything Don’t try to talk me down One small step for all mankind Fall behind the eight ball No more tears or alibis Realize that now it’s gone… There’s the chance that I was given There’s the things that I kept hidden There’s the love that is forbidden There’s the skin I once used to live in There’s the pillow, there’s the drug There’s the truth and there’s forbidden love There’s the chance and there’s the lie There’s the joke and there’s the time And all of that other stuff

Beautiful melodic but also very pithy song with great prog-rock energy and sound! Awesome silver voice of Matt and these intricate passages of your lead guitar, Morgan! You made the stuff of really high musicianship. My applause!

With this song you get it all: Seven to the beat (sometimes), great vocals, progrock-like chord progressions, Beatles-like tunes, awesome guitar shredding, great production. You name it and it's there! Wonderful work, guys!

This is a lot more than a straight forward pop song. The twists and turns are classic Relative Rabbit - brilliantly crafted and performed. Top notch musicianship and creativeness. Enjoyed every second.

Great vocals from Matt and rock solid main guitar. Wild lead guitar, and wild time sig, but all pulled together into a coherent pop song by the Rabbits. Amazing.

Yes, this is very catchy pop, and there is a kind of boy-like wildness/enthusiasm in it. I like the way you drive away from the main theme and come back to it. Yeah, I dig this one. Nice.

Really nice 90s vibe going on here - lyrics and vocals sound top notch and the music especially guitar and keys with driving beat is a dance floor attraction big time. Great!

This is a great manic ditty very catchy and I dig Matts vocals if that is Matt. love the classic rocky guitar too. The synth is also a cool addition, very neat song had me bopping along to it all the way through, Ali.
