Lyrics
Well my Angel was crying I could tell from the sky And the tears that were falling From deep in Her eye And I came back Maria Cause I just had to see Bout the stories they feed ya Bout Mortals like me And I did what they told me Put my love far away And reached for the glory Instead of the clay Well I tell ya Maria Even though I am blind Well I really still love ya The things that you've done I don't mind And I did what they told me Put my love far away I reached for the glory Instead of the clay And I did what they told me Put my love far away And reached for the glory Instead of the clay Well I tell ya Maria Even though I am blind Well I really still love ya The things that you've done I don't mind And I did what they told me Put my love far away And reached for the glory Instead of the clay Well I came back Maria Cause I just had to see Bout the stories they feed ya Bout Mortals like me Well I tell ya Maria Even though I am blind Well I really still love ya The things that you've done I don't mind And I did what they told me Put my love far away And reached for the glory Instead of the clay
