My mother sang this song to us. I remember my eldest sister cried every time my mother sang this song. I have never heard it sang by any one else. She used to write songs and I believe she may have written this.

Retired from the company in 2011 after 38.94 years and I can't complain. I am now semi retired and concentrating on my fishing, boats, music, concerts, club dates, and the organizations that I belong to. I am also committed to helping the community and doing what I can for those in need. A big thank you to Palouse Country Cowboy Poets Association, and the Western Music Association, they help me to help others. Thank you and God Bless

Story behind the song
This is a song of lost love. I sat down one day and remembered all the lyrics that my mother sang in this song because it was one of the favorite songs that she sang to the family. This was before TV in the old country. A very special time in my life.
