I met a bunch of fellow musicians on a Facebook group called Serious Songwriters & Musicians. I was searching for folks interested in writing lyrics for some of my work. I got a lot of responses so I will be busy for a while.

In The Ocean Air
John Coughlin
Lee Boos
There’s something wrong with the tide, we have nowhere, nowhere to hide.
As we wonder what’s at hand, we lose sight, sight of the land.
The wind goes against the norm, say goodbye, to the calm before the storm.
Ready we are for Nature’s production, a storm driven, driven to destruction.
In The Ocean Air The moon is out.
It’s not going to shine tonight.
An invisible force we know is here.
We can feel it in the ocean air.
As we dread what we’re about to learn, the winds and waters begin to turn.
We have no knowledge of our course, just the will to survive nature’s force.
As the concept of time is lost, it's now survival at any cost.
We look to the east and hope to see the sun and dawn as they draw toward me.
In The Ocean Air The moon is out
It’s not going to shine tonight.
An invisible force we know is here.
We can feel it in the ocean air.
